In 2009, our founders began the journey of creating and growing their beverage business in the independent retail and wholesale trade. We felt the wrath of the industry environment and recognised the need for change.

Back then, online retail and wholesale seemed out of reach. That was until we understood the leverage of building a multi-brand, multi-seller business. This meant including multiple sellers in one place, offering online consumers a convenient assortment of quality food and beverage products.

We rolled the dice and invested in a cutting-edge marketplace platform to help other independent brand owners, agents, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors struggling with the same distribution challenges. Next thing we know, Buy The Box was formed. The rest is – as they say – history.

Our company goal has always been to revolutionise the way online retail and wholesale is managed for independent business owners, manufacturers, and distributors. But how could this be achieved?
